A celebration of Puerto Rican Birds!

Join us this Thursday September 27th at 6pm at Real Artways(56 Arbor St) in Hartford for Birds from here and there. A fundraiser for Puerto Rican birds! This event is a celebration of creatures that migrate to and from, like us Puerto Ricans!

This discussion and fundraiser is meant to foster a sense of belonging and place among Diasporicans and Hartford communities through an evening photo-talk about birds that are common to both Puerto Rico and Connecticut, birds that are unique to each place and birds that–like us–migrate between both localities.

Suggested entrance donation is $20, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Seating is limited though so please reserve your seat through this link. non-reserved spaces will be available until we reach capacity.

The magnificent prints you see above will be available for silent auction at the event.

Co-sponsors:
