Wildaliz Bermudez is a Hartford City Councilwoman. She's Minority Leader on with the Working Families Party. Wildaliz Bermudez is a Hartford native and community activist. As an original Sheff v.s. O’Neill plaintiff she has fought for the improvement of public schools in CT. Having worked as a Policy Analyst for the City of Hartford she co-founded the Green Action Team and initiated Hartford's first Clean Energy Task Force. Wildaliz obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Trinity College in History and her Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from La Universidad Metropolitana in Puerto Rico.
Eva-Marie Quinones is a Puerto Rican - Dominican from New Jersey who is currently getting her PhD in political science from Yale University. She is particularly passionate about addressing economic inequality and opportunity in Puerto Rico. Previously, Eva-Marie has worked with the Andrew Goodman Foundation, leading a nonpartisan initiative to register voters and fight discriminatory restrictions on voting rights, the Bard College Center for Civic Engagement, where she worked as an intern connecting students to volunteer opportunities and organizing events, and several Democratic political campaigns.
