Tuesday March 20th, the 6 month anniversary of hurricane Maria, hundreds of Puerto Rican families displaced by the hurricane and allies from across the country will travel to Washington DC to demand a more decisive and urgent action from the White House and Congress to respond to the continuing humanitarian crisis. Puerto Rico and our families demand a Just Recovery!
Join me and families from Puerto Rico and those displaced to the states for a day of action in Washington DC, to tell FEMA and Congress members that we will not let them forget Puerto Rico and to pass a comprehensive support package specific to Puerto Rico.
Buses will be leaving from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Join us! Puerto Rican families cannot wait any longer for the aid they need, on the island and in the states. To get a seat on a bus to Washington, DC on March 20, you can email Mirka Dominguez at firstname.lastname@example.org.
